=====================================================
1. Microsoft Office: Quick Formatting Shortcuts
=====================================================
Try these easy keyboard shortcuts the next time you want to
turn on (or turn off) formatting for selected text:

[Ctrl] + B Bold

[Ctrl] + U Underline

[Ctrl] + I Italics

Each of these works like a toggle or on/off switch depending on
the current formatting.

=====================================================
2. Microsoft Word: Easy Automation & Formatting
=====================================================
When you create a new Word document are you ready to type or do
you need to spend extra time changing the font, margins, and
other formatting? Find out how to automate your formatting
preferences:

Do you have text that you type frequently such as an address or
signature line? Make it easy with AutoCorrect and AutoText:

=====================================================
3. Microsoft Word: Change Case
=====================================================
Do you have text that is all upper case or lower case and you
want to change it without re-typing?

a) First, select text

b) Press [Shift] + [F3] and repeat until the text looks
the way you want. Choices include:
UPPER CASE, lower case, Sentence case

For more options, select text and pick:

Format > Change Case

=====================================================
4. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access: Keyboard Shortcuts
=====================================================
For your own desktop copy of common keyboard shortcuts:

PowerPoint:

Access:

=====================================================
5. Microsoft Excel & Access: Easy Data Entry
=====================================================
Try these quick and easy ways to enter data in Excel & Access
(thanks to subscriber Dan Riley for reminding me about these
great shortcuts):

[Ctrl] + ;
enters current date

[Ctrl] + '(single quote)
repeats data from cell or row immediately above

=====================================================
6. Microsoft Word: Quick Random Text
=====================================================
Would you like to easily create practice test to try out
Microsoft Word techniques? Stop typing and just enter:

=rand(# of paragraphs, # of sentences/paragraph)

For instance, =rand(10,5) will create the practice text "The
quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" in 10 paragraphs of 5
sentences each.

=====================================================
With these tricks and techniques, quick data entry and
formatting is easy to do.
